Grandchildren call and share your artwork with your Grandparents

You can make calls free to other computer users, or for a few pence to anywhere in the world, by simply plugging in an Internet Phone or Headphones with a mouthpiece to your computer that has a broadband internet connection . If you have a web cam, or plug one in, you can see the other person you are calling. You can even join in calls with several members of your family located in different parts of the world. It is lovely for grandparents and grandchildren to keep in touch this way. The kiddies can show all their lovely pictures. To find out more visit www.skype.com.

Find out who is Phoning you

Have a look at your phone to see the number of the person who is phoning you. To find the address etc. just type into your computer’s web browser or google (ie) '2821421 phone number in bray’, and see what comes up. This is handy in business for when you receive an enquiry from a new potential customer and you did not find who they are.

Using Your Mobile phone to make FREE mobile calls worldwide

If you have 3G phone, (ie) one that goes on the internet, and if you have wireless internet network, or can use a WIFI zone you can make FREE mobile to mobile calls if you both have Truphone number. You can make calls worldwide very cheaply to other mobiles that do not have Truphone numbers. Find out more at www.truphone.com. Remember it can be very expensive to use the internet on your phone using the mobile phone company as a carrier. I surf the net on my phone for FREE by choosing to use our own internet wireless connection. It is a bit fiddly to set up initially but a marvellous way to get even more value out of your wireless network.
